Welcome to the Jack O’Newbury

Welcome to the Jack O’Newbury

The Jack O’ Newbury is a modern country pub with rooms, shaped by English craft and a strong sense of place. Historic at its core, contemporary in spirit.

At the heart of the house is a lively pub — open fires, well-kept ales, a focused wine list and seasonal cooking (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) led by Dominic Chapman, built on exceptional local produce.

A private dining room offers space for gatherings and celebrations. Outside, a wildflower meadow and kitchen garden connect the house to the land. Upstairs, calm, characterful rooms are finished with thoughtful modern comforts.

Bold in spirit and generous by nature, The Jack O’ Newbury is a place to eat well, drink well and feel at home — a contemporary pub defined by warmth, quality and a strong sense of place.
